At Aster, we’re looking for two Support Administrators, one to support Planned Works and the other to support with Projects.  Both roles will play a key part in the successful delivery of our planned maintenance and investment programmes across our housing stock. You’ll be right at the heart of ensuring our programmes and projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and to the highest standards.

 

About the role

 

As part of a wider team, you’ll provide comprehensive administrative and coordination support to a range of maintenance and investment programmes. Working closely with delivery teams, contractors, and residents, you’ll help ensure systems, processes, and documentation are well managed, communication flows smoothly, and customers feel informed and supported every step of the way.

 

This is a fast-paced, varied role where your attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to juggle priorities will make a real difference.

 

What you’ll be doing

  • Providing day-to-day administrative support to planned maintenance and investment programmes and projects, which will include minute taking
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating systems relating to works, programmes, and property data
  • Supporting the scheduling and coordination of works, appointments, and programme activities
  • Acting as a key point of contact for residents, responding to enquiries and providing updates on planned works
  • Liaising with contractors, operatives, surveyors, and internal teams to support effective communication
  • Preparing and issuing resident communications, including letters, notices, and appointment confirmations
  • Monitoring programme progress, updating trackers, and highlighting any delays or risks
  • Managing documentation such as work orders, certifications, and compliance records
  • Processing invoices, purchase orders, and variations in line with financial procedures
  • Collating data and supporting performance reporting, KPI tracking, audits, and compliance
  • Assisting with complaint handling by logging cases and tracking responses

 

About you

 

You’ll be an organised and proactive administrator who enjoys working with data, systems, and people. You’re comfortable in a customer-focused environment and confident communicating with a wide range of stakeholders.

 

You’ll bring:

  • Experience in an administrative role within housing, property, construction, or maintenance
  • Minute taking skills, ensuring that accurate records can be shared with the team in a timely manner
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-focused office environment
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience managing data within IT systems and maintaining accurate records
  • Experience coordinating appointments, schedules, or work programmes
  • Confidence liaising with contractors, internal teams, and customers
  • GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths
  • A relevant administrative or business qualification (or equivalent experience)

 

This is a hybrid role enabling you to base yourself from home if you wish.The team do come together on a regular basis in one of our HUBS, so being able to travel within our operating region is a must, you will therefore have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.

 

Our HUBS are based in Andover, Devizes, Frome, Ferndown, Weymouth, Wareham and London.
